Yep the lil woman says its official !!!! I have lost my mind LOL Just got back from buying parts for a vehicle I dont even own !!!! Just picked up a 3 piece freedom hardtop and a set of Bestop Safari doors with 2 sets of the cargo pockets off an 08 JK. She is lucky I didnt have anymore cash on me. Or I would have drug home the set of 5 1500mile Rubicon tires and wheels.Maybe she is right !!! LOL But man I paid 350 for the hardtop and doors both of which have only seen garage use. He said he would take 200 for the tires and wheels since I bought everything else. Man the 14,999 2 door X's are looking real good right about now !!!! The rubi tires and wheels would get me by till a lift happens ....

LOL I tried to give him $50 to hold and would come back and pay him the rest. But he said dont worry about the $50 he would hold them and come back in morn. He seemed like a pretty stand up type.. Hopefully He is in the construction biz and aint had any work. So rather then loose that BAD A$$ Viper in his garage he was selling off all his extra parts cheap and quick... Dang he is making me lean towards a new JK Been looking at them comparing. rather then drop I giant chunk on mine to get rid of the 2.5, or even the $10K plus people are wanting for there nice low mile 01/02 TJ's. Those 09JK's for 14,999 are looking real sweet !!!!!!

Yep there are some screaming deals out there. Buddy of mine just picked up a pretty basic 09 X last week for around 17k (Canuck dollars). If I didn't have a full driveway right now I'd be heading to the stealership with a pocket full of cash!

LOL dont think iwill be trading in the heep. Well they said sight unseen they were willing to give me $1000. So I laughed at them and they came back and said $2000. They are claiming that the price is so low they have NO room at all to play with. MSRP of $22 and they got it down to $16 with all fees. I know the Economy is crap and people are selling toys and not buying but dam. I have been shopping the used market and prices are still up on Wranglers (around here) anyway. Before this market I was thinking around $4K and thats comparing it to the rest of the junk for sale in that range. And it still would be a good deal. Oh well back to the drawing board I guess. OH by the way I loved the way the JK drove. I still think they are ugly as H@LL but man it was light years ahead of my YJ.

Well its really official now !!! I got suckered into buying one last night. Got an 09JK X. After seeing and driving it they started at 1500 trade for mine then when I explained that kelly blue book trade in value put it at 2500 they upped it to 2500 if I signed last night. Well I am a slow dicision maker esp with this economy and told them I wasnt prepared to sign so I walked. They called me a half hour later and said they would go 3000. So I tried to keep from laughing and told them only if I keep my winch. They agreed !! so its all mine now payments and all LOL PS one big deciding factor was that in the last couple days my oil press on the old heep I noticed had dropped to around 7 at idle (warmed up) to were it use to always be at about 20 so I figured its best to let her go
