Default where to wheel?

just looking for some suggestions on wheeling trips within a decent range. i mapquested rausch creek but it's a 9hr. drive each way. anyone know of anything closer to northern vermont?

Try the NEA Northeast Association of 4WD Clubs find a 4WD club.

uriesvtjeep, hay you mean to tell me that you have nothing up there to ride on??, don't they allow you on the snowmobile trails? How about some friends with land? I'm sure you must be careful with the Canadian border being so close but there has to be some trails there. How about in Derby or Jaypeak, Glover. Ok if your wondering my inlaws are from Newport VT

If you look at the Nea website there are places to go not just clubs.

Rubiconrich, I have checket several of these sites and every time I have checked the "run" they post has happened or limited to certain types of vehicles, or out west (6 + hour drive oneway) any ideas for the "standard" wheeler like my self, nothing fancy small 3" lift, 33" MT's and enjoys exploring not causing trouble?
