View My Jeep Specs | | | | battery question..... | | can a battery show that it has power but not turn on the vehicle? my jeep being the vehicle..
trying to figure out if it is my starter or battery....more info in my thread below but no one responded...

View My Jeep Specs | | | | have it checked by a REAL battery tech ... not the idiots at vatozone... as Sparky said... it may show to have 12 volts but not have enuff amps to start it ... the Interstate in the 4 runner did that not too long ago ... tested 12.3 volts and 60 amps...

View My Jeep Specs | | | | well ... i hate to bust your bubble (well not really  ) BUT, Optima is now owned by Interstate, or whoever owns them, and is now made with the same crappy quality as them .... sure you may get lucky, but I know several people that have had major bad luck with them and tehre is a HUGE thread on pirate about it from other folks... THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED !!!!

THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED !!!! | LOL they put an interstate battery in it to fix the problem......why did the priceof batteries go up in the past couple years???LOL $168bucks for the battery and test and everything..probably charged me 30bucks to put it in....aw well just glad it wasn't the alternator or starter....

did they at least use some lube during install...? | lol yea i expected it to be overpriced...like i said it is in a resort town ..they do that with everyone here.... I checked online and the battery that they gave me was 122 from their website...ah well that's the way it goes i guess....

I lost a red top in the TJ not too long ago it was only 2 yrs old

View My Jeep Specs | | | | thats what I was saying ... on the flip side, my buddy has his old red top that he bought in 94 in my old sploder right now... it sat on a shelf for 5 yrs before I grabbed it and threw it in one day when the old one went out ... it cranked right up...
you just dont get quality like that anymore..

you just dont get quality like that anymore.. | yea i had one in my 90300zx for like 4-5years and the only reason it died was because it drained completely because i forgot to unhook the terminals when i let the car sit for about a year...lol that was a red top. got it for 100bucks at pepboys...now they are expensive
