Default Chevy engine swap - need advise

Hello,
I have a 95 Wrangler with 4 cyl engine. I am considering swapping to a 4.3 V6 chevy engine with 465/205. The engine is from a 89 chevy astro van. The main reason I am considering these items is that I have them and they're in good shape. I will have to fabricate an adapter to connect the 465 to my Ford 205 but that won't be a big deal as I have machine shop access and skills. I've done some measuring and all looks like it will fit ok. My concern is in the electrical department. I noticed that the speed-o cable is not a cable but a couple of wires coming off the t'case. This looks like a problem with the 205. Also I'm not sure how the gages would swap to the chevy engine. And what about the other things that I haven't discovered yet, I've done enough of this type work to know there will be other problems to overcome.

Has anyone done this swap. If so what are some problems I will have to overcome.

Thanks, Steven

There are some VSS that fit into cable type t-cases and use an electrical signal. Search for VSS and 205's.
