no im just kidding but i was camping with a couple of buddies and we were looking for fire wood, and i saw a fire that was going out so i walk over there to steal the burning wood. well some jackass put coals out side of the fire around the edge of it. well im bare foot and step right on the fawkin coals. i have two silver dollar sized blisters on the bottom of my foot and and blisters all over the bottom of my toes. i was so pissed and in so much pain i drank 10 shots of jack and didnt feel any pain after that. its been 3 days and it dosent hurt to walk on it, it just feel wierd. and i hope it dosnt get infected

I worked with a fire act and I got some burns here and there on my hands and arms. Get an aloe plant. Best stuff on earth for burns.

or baby's diaper rash cream (after all, diaper rash is just a chemical burn).

the opening made me wonder WTF was you thinking, then i realized it was a joke, but then i read the ending....still WTF were you thinking?

where theres a fire going out there will be hot coals, why not find some nice wood that wasnt smoldering?

From your description of the other fire pit, sounds like they seperated the fire so that it would go out; they don't sound like jackasses to me. What strikes me funny is that you were actually scouting for firewood barefoot. Here's a great link for care of burns like yours.

dammit 04!!!! first off like previously stated it was going out...you spread it out so it burns out faster (trust me I was/still am an active boyscout) secondly though, when you spread it out you still ALWAYS keep it in the fire ring (prefferably outlined with large rocks or brick or other wood to distinguish) so it was a small part thier fault, but son lets add this all up

fire+VISIBLE smoldering coals+bare feet+W04=a very much in pain, however, wiser, W04. get some mole skin (kind of bandage) and make a few donut shaped pads to fit around it, stack them higher than the top of the blister, wrap over that, AND FOR GOD'S SAKE DON'T POP IT!!!!! other than that just keep applying aloe like you have been and you'll be ok

Seriously, if you did burn yourself as bad as you say, see a doctor. My son just suffered 2nd degree burns over about 25% of his right arm and 10% on his left. Once the blisters popped (on their own - don't pop them yourself), he went to the doctor every other day to have the dead skin taken off. The dead skin will cause an infection, but so will the open sores. He had to keep it wrapped and we changed his bandages 2 times a day and he kept the wounds very clean. The bandages were off in about a week, and he's healed fine.

These is no way I'm paying a doctor to do that, when I can do it myself. Al

the actrual fire that was going out had rocks around it, the coals i steppd on were on the out side of the rocked in fire. im not that stupid to walk around bare foot in a rocked in fire. the reason we were getting wood from there was because there wasnt any other wood there
