Broken rear shock bolt
We were putting new rear shocks on our 97 TJ yesterday and one of the top bolts broke. It's one of the ones that has a blind nut. Anyway, we can't drive the car without the second bolt, the shock will pull out.
Is it better to drive the remaining bolt through the hole in hopes of breaking the blind not off the floorpan, or should I drill it. I don't want to use an ez-out (bad luck with those before) and I'd rather not try to tap the exisitng blind nut.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
